I work on nitrogen-vacancy (NV) defect centers in diamond. My past and ongoing research includes NV magnetic microscopy and sensing, optical spectroscopy and basic properties, and magnetic spin noise relaxometry.
At Harvard I work on NV widefield magnetic microscopy for paleomagnetism and biology, collaborating with Ben Weiss (MIT) and Arash Komeili (UC Berkeley).
I also collaborate with Victor Acosta (UNM) on NV NMR spectroscopy with nanofabricated diamond.
