I completed my primary and secondary education at Nagollagama Central Collage, where I built a strong academic foundation alongside active involvement in extracurricular activities, particularly in dance and performing arts. Throughout my school years, I consistently participated in cultural events, stage performances,, and dance competitions, which enhanced my skills in both traditional and creative dance forms.
In addition to performance, I contributed to organizing school events and group activities, developing leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. My school experience played a significant role in shaping my artistic identity and deepening my passion for dance, ultimately guiding me towards pursuing higher education in the field of fine arts.

University Of Peradeniya
B.A (hons) in Fine Arts
I successfully completed the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Fine Arts, specializing in Dance, at the University of Peradeniya. The program provided me with comprehensive academic and practical training in both traditional Sri Lankan dance forms and contemporary movement practices, enabling me to develop a strong foundation in performance, choreography, and dance studies.
Throughout my academic journey, I actively engaged in performance-based projects, choreography development, and theoretical explorations related to dance, which deepened my understanding of movement,artistic expression, and cultural context. I also participated in university productions and collaborative artistic projects that enhanced my stage presence, creativity, communication,and teamwork skills.
In addition to performance and choreography, I gained knowledge and practical experience in dance education,including lesson planning, student engagement, and creative teaching methodologies. Completing this degree has significantly shaped my artistic identity and prepared me for a professional career as both a performer and dance educator in the field of fine arts.
