This Privacy Policy explains how Pixel Memo ("the App") handles information when you use the App.
The App is provided by Devwsapp ("we", "us", or "our").
1. Overview
Pixel Memo is a local-first memo application that lets you create, edit, organize, and manage notes directly on your device.
You are not required to create an account to use the App.
2. Information the App Handles
When you use the App, the App may process and store information that you enter or create, including:
note titles
note content
checklist items
tags
note type, color, priority, pinned status, and trash status
note creation and update timestamps
app settings such as theme mode, style selection, and compact mode
3. How Information Is Used
The App uses this information to:
create, edit, display, and organize your notes
manage checklist progress and trash or restore actions
save your app preferences and settings
keep your note data available on your device
We do not use your note content for advertising, profiling, or analytics.
4. Storage and Processing
Pixel Memo stores note data and app settings locally on your device using Android on-device storage mechanisms.
The App does not currently require an account or provide account-based cloud sync.
5. Backup and Device Transfer
The App currently supports Android system backup and device transfer features.
As a result, some app data stored on your device may be included in:
Android cloud backup, depending on your device and Google account settings
device-to-device transfer when you move to a new Android device
These processes are handled by the Android platform and related services, not by a dedicated Pixel Memo backend operated by us.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your note content with advertising networks or third-party analytics providers.
As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, the App does not include third-party SDKs for:
advertising
analytics
crash reporting
We may disclose information if required to do so by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Your notes remain stored on your device until you delete them.
If you move a note to Trash, it remains in Trash until you restore it or permanently delete it.
If you clear Trash or permanently delete a note, that note is removed from the App's active local data store.
If you uninstall the App, Android may remove locally stored app data from your device. Backup copies may continue to exist for some period if your device or Google backup settings have created backups.
8. Security
We rely on Android's built-in app sandboxing and local storage protections to help protect data stored by the App.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
Pixel Memo is not directed specifically to children under 16.
As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, the App does not provide a dedicated online account service for children.
10. Third-Party Links
The App may contain links to third-party webpages, such as privacy-related or support-related pages.
If you open a third-party website, its privacy practices are governed by that third party's own policies.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
