Pixel Frame ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Pixel Frame mobile application (the "App") accesses, how that information is used, and your choices.
This policy is intended for users of the iOS and Android versions of Pixel Frame.

- Why: To let you edit, process, store, and send images to your Pixel Frame device.
2. Camera Data
- What: Camera input only when you actively capture a photo.
- Why: To allow taking photos for use with your Pixel Frame device.
3. Bluetooth Data
- What: Bluetooth identifiers and technical information needed to discover, connect to, and communicate with your Pixel Frame hardware.
- Why: To pair and maintain communication with your Pixel Frame device.
4. Local Network Data
- What: Local IP/network details required to transfer images to your Pixel Frame device over your local network.
- Why: To send processed image files directly to your Pixel Frame on your LAN.
5. Device and App Usage Data (local only)
- What: App settings/state (for example onboarding completion), local image metadata (for example file path, device type, and timestamp), and frame status data returned by your device (for example battery status, frame status, SSID, and local IP).
- Why: To provide core App functionality, retain your local image library, and show frame state.
## 2. Data We Do Not Collect for Tracking or Advertising
- We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
- We do not use third-party analytics SDKs for behavioral profiling.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use your data for cross-app tracking.
## 3. Where Data Is Stored
1. On your device
- Selected/captured images and processed files may be stored in the App's local storage.
- Local app data may be stored using on-device storage mechanisms (for example app storage files and local database records).
2. On your Pixel Frame device and local network
- When you upload an image to your frame, the transfer occurs to your frame device on your local network.
3. Cloud service used by the Library feature
- The in-app Library feature fetches image content from a remote service endpoint.
- We do not require account creation in the App for this.
## 4. How We Use Information
We use accessed data only to operate App features, including:
- Discovering and connecting to your Pixel Frame device.
- Allowing you to pick, capture, crop, and process images.
- Saving your local image list and related metadata.
- Uploading processed images to your frame device.
- Loading remote gallery content in the Library tab.
- Remembering app state (for example onboarding completion).
## 5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share your personal information with data brokers or advertisers.
Data may be shared only in the following limited ways:
1. Service providers and infrastructure
- Remote Library images are fetched from a hosted API endpoint. Standard network logs (such as IP address and request metadata) may be processed by that service and its infrastructure providers.
2. Legal requirements
- We may disclose information if required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
3. Business transfer
- If ownership of the App changes (for example merger or asset sale), information related to App operations may be transferred as permitted by law.
## 6. Permissions We Request
Depending on your platform and OS version, the App may request:
- Bluetooth permissions: To scan and connect to your Pixel Frame device.
- Camera permission: To capture photos in-app.
- Photo/Storage permission: To select images from your gallery.
- Local network access (iOS): To connect to your frame on your LAN.
- Location permission (Android, where required by OS for BLE): To enable Bluetooth LE scanning on supported Android versions.
You can deny permissions, but related features may not function.
## 7. Your Choices and Controls
You can control data use by:
- Granting or revoking app permissions in device settings.
- Deleting local images from within the App.
- Uninstalling the App to remove local app data from your device (subject to platform behavior and backups).
## 8. Data Retention
- Local files and metadata are retained on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.
- Data sent to your frame is retained according to your frame device behavior and settings.
- Remote API providers may retain server logs according to their own policies.
## 9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
## 10. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
## 11. International Users
If you use the App outside your home country, your network requests may be processed in other jurisdictions where service infrastructure is located.
## 12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
