Privacy Policy — Pixel Checker by Shaiek Ahmed
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Pixel Checker by Shaiek Ahmed ("the extension") is a developer tool that shows which marketing pixels and tags (Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel and OpenAI Pixel) run on the web page you are viewing, and which events they send.
What the extension reads
To do this, the extension reads, inside your browser:
• the addresses of tracking scripts loaded by the page you are viewing,
• the requests those pixels send to their own platforms (for example the event name, pixel ID and event parameters),
• the page's own calls to the Meta Pixel (fbq), so an event can still be shown if its request did not go out, and
• the Google Tag Manager start entry (gtm.js) in the page's dataLayer.
What the extension stores
This information is kept only in your browser's temporary session storage, separately for each tab. It is deleted when you close the tab or the browser, or when you press "Reset". Your Light/Dark theme choice is saved in the extension's local storage; nothing else is saved there.
What the extension does not do
• It does not send any data to the developer or to any other server.
• It does not use analytics, advertising or tracking of its own.
• It does not sell, share or transfer user data to anyone.
• It does not use or transfer data for any purpose unrelated to its single purpose of showing pixel and tag activity on the current page.
• It does not change or block the page's own requests.
The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
