Welcome to PixBoy: GBA Retro Emulator (the "App"), developed and operated by Cau Giay LTD (referred to as "we," "us," or "our").
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your download, installation, and use of the App. By downloading, accessing, or using PixBoy: GBA Retro Emulator, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately uninstall and discontinue using the App.
By using this App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are their parent or legal guardian and accept responsibility for their use of the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this eligibility requirement. If you are under 13, you are not permitted to use the App.
PixBoy: GBA Retro Emulator is a software tool designed to enable emulation of Game Boy Advance (GBA) console hardware on compatible Android devices.
No ROMs or Game Files Provided: The App does not contain, bundle, distribute, or provide any game files, ROMs, BIOS files, or proprietary console software.
User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for obtaining legally authorized game files (ROMs) or system BIOS images. You must own a physical copy of any game or software you convert and load into the App. We do not condone, support, or facilitate software piracy or the unauthorized downloading of copyrighted games.
Non-Affiliation Disclaimer: PixBoy: GBA Retro Emulator is NOT affiliated with, authorized, endorsed, sponsored, or licensed by Nintendo Co., Ltd., its subsidiaries, or affiliates in any way. "Game Boy Advance," "GBA," and "Nintendo" are registered trademarks of Nintendo Co., Ltd. All trademarks, logos, and copyrights belong to their respective owners.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on your Android device for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
Modify, copy, distribute, license, or sell any part of the App’s source code or assets.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code, except as permitted by applicable open-source licenses (if any).
Use the App for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
While using the App, you agree not to:
Interfere with, disrupt, or bypass any security features or functionality of the App.
Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international laws, including copyright and intellectual property laws.
Use automated systems or software to extract data or modify the App's performance.
The App integrates with and relies on third-party services for advertising, analytics, and operational functions. These may include, but are not limited to:
Google Play Services (Core app services and updates)
AdMob (Targeted and non-targeted ad serving)
Firebase Crashlytics (Crash reporting and performance monitoring)
Google Analytics for Firebase (App usage metrics)
Facebook Audience Network (Advertising and analytics)
OneSignal (Push notifications)
These third-party services operate independently and maintain their own Terms of Service and Privacy Policies. We are not responsible for the content, data collection, or practices of these third parties.
The App may display advertisements. By using the App, you consent to the display of ads. You can manage your personalized ad preferences and opt-out of targeted ads through your Android device’s system settings (e.g., Settings > Google > Ads).
Local Storage Only: Any files, ROMs, save states, screenshots, or other content you load, create, or modify using the App remain stored locally on your device.
No Server Storage: We do not collect, access, host, or back up your game files, saved game states, or configuration data. If you delete the App or clear its cache, your local saved files may be permanently lost.
Indemnification: You are solely responsible for ensuring that the files you load into the App do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason, including if we suspect a violation of these Terms. Upon termination, you must immediately uninstall and delete all copies of the App.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, CAU GIAY LTD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL RUN FLAWLESSLY, FREE OF ERROR, OR THAT IT WILL RUN EVERY GAME ROM SOURCED BY THE USER.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAU GIAY LTD, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, DEVICE DAMAGE, OR LEGAL ACTION TAKEN AGAINST YOU BY THIRD-PARTY COPYRIGHT HOLDERS FOR IMPROPERLY SOURCED ROMS.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will become effective immediately upon being published in an updated version of the App or on our official store listing. Your continued use of the App after such updates signifies your agreement to the modified Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that specific provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
