Welcome to the Baltieri and Piubello Families Family History website. In August 2016 our heritage city Griffith, New South Wales, Australia celebrated 100 years. The Baltieri Family were one of a number of pioneer families that arrived in Griffith from Italy, UK and Europe plus mining locations around Australia.

The purpose of this site is to enable family ancestors and friends to share stories and information. I have started transcribing family memoirs and writing a mix of fiction and non-fiction stories of our ancestors, friends and their trials and tribulations building the City in which Griffith has grown into from the early 1900's.

In the Resource Centre page I will start saving these stories for you to read. It would be wonderful to be able to include your input and stories to ensure we capture the real lives of our ancestors. Update 26 January 2019, all Stories will have an Italian and Portuguese translation.
