Jewish Women's Foundation of Greater Pittsburgh's

Young Women's Giving Society

A giving circle of Jewish Pittsburgh women, ages 25 to 45, engaged in socially active and collective philanthropy to improve the lives of adolescent girls in our community.

Building Healthy Relationships

For the 2019-2020 funding cycle, we are seeking proposals related to building healthy relationships for adolescent girls.

We launched YWGS in 2016 with the support of the Jewish Women’s Foundation of Greater Pittsburgh. While we maintain a focus on adolescent girls year to year, our specific issue focus changes. By way of example, during our 2018-2019 funding cycle, we focused specifically on funding a subset of projects dedicated to building bridges between communities and combating hate. This year, we will fund projects that support the building of healthy relationships for adolescent girls. If your organization works in this area, we hope you will consider submitting a Letter of Interest (LOI). Please share our LOI form with anyone in the Pittsburgh region who may be interested.

My organization is interested in receiving a grant from YWGS. What is your process?

If you would like to apply for funding from YWGS, please complete our Letter of Interest grant application form and submit it electronically by January 24, 2020.

How can I become a member of YWGS?

Most of our programming for the 2019-2020 year will take place between October and March. Registration is now closed. If you want to learn more about our group or express interest in joining us for the following programming year, please contact us.
