Highway 264 Chess is proud to announce the creation of the PACO (Pitt Area Chess Open). The PACO will be a 3 Round G/70;d5 Swiss Format USCF Tournament.

Round Times: Rd 1: 9:30 Rd 2: 12:40 Rd 3: 3:15
Sections: The sections will be divided up into groups of 8-12 players to allow for a maximum prize fund. The TD's reserve the rights to change section sizes if needed.
Host: Sheppard Memorial Library (Local History Room) 530 Evans Street, Greenville, NC 27858. Several eateries are within walking distance.
Registration: Entry fee is $20, $5 more on site if not preregistered by 11:00 PM day before tournament. Same-day registration ends at 9:00 so we can start the tournament on time; any registrations after that may have a first round bye. All preregistered players will be paired and clocks started; please notify the tournament director if you are not going to play. Entry fee also payable online.
Prizes: $320 based on 20 paid entries. 1st, 2nd, and class prizes in each section.
Byes: One half-point bye available; request before round 1.
