To remind students and everyone of the importance of empowering and respecting women in the community, Pitogo High School officially opens the National Women's Month with the campaign banner "WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society"; it started with the National Anthem followed by Panatang Makabayan, Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas, Pitogo Hymn, and some inspirational speeches from Ms. Ma. Angelica A. Gumangan and Mr. Resty A Flores, GAD Secretariat and GAD Focal Person respectively.
And then it continued with the presentation of Grades 7, 10 and 11 students' “One Billion Rising Dance”.
In addition, the Grade 12 students sang the song 'Girl on Fire' as intermission number.
Ms. Gumangan furthermore presented the GAD activities for the month, encouraging everyone to support gender equality and to join the celebration to heed to the call for Women and Everyone(WE) to take part in promoting gender equality and women's empowerment.
