Launch application
Select Pitcher X – Press Next
Select Start new game
If pitcher is coming into a new inning, press 0 outs. If pitcher is coming into the middle of an inning, set outs to 1 or 2. If you have the Pro version, you can set the count. The default is 0-0. If you have the free version, the count will be set to 0-0.
1st pitch – Ball – press Ball button
2nd pitch – Strike – press Strike button, then select Strike Looking
3rd pitch – Foul – press Strike button, then select Foul
4th pitch – Foul - press Strike button, then select Foul – note that the count is still 1-2
5th pitch – Ground Out – press In-Play button, then select Ground Out
6th pitch – Ball – press Ball button
7th pitch – Strike – press Strike button, then select Strike Looking
8th pitch – Strike – press Strike button, then select Strike Looking
9th pitch – Dropped 3rd – press Strike button, note that dropped 3rd strike buttons are enabled, press Dropped 3rd Strike, Swinging (Safe)
Runner is now on 1st base
Let’s say next batter hits into a double play, as a grounder
10th pitch – Ground Out – press In-Play button, then select Ground Out
Press Out button, then select Double Play
This is now the 3rd out. Application should bring up email option. The data is saved for the current pitcher automatically.
Note that the total pitches is now set at 10. Since this is now the 2nd inning, the pitches in parentheses is (0), because 0 pitches have been thrown for the 2nd inning. Similarly, Outs is 3, but outs this inning is set to (0).
