This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Kevin Xu ("We," "Us," or "Our") collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the Pitch Battle mobile application ("App").

1. Data We Collect

We are committed to collecting only the minimal amount of personal data necessary to provide and improve the functionality of our matchmaking and rating services.

1.1. Personal Data

The following personal data is collected directly from you:

• User-Generated Username: This is the name you choose to represent yourself on our service.

• Matchmaking Server Activity: We record data related to your gameplay on our matchmaking server, which is inherently linked to your chosen Username.

1.2. Non-Personal Data

We also collect and store non-personal data related to your game activity, which is publicly visible to other Users:

• Rating Score (e.g., ELO): A numerical score derived from your performance in matches.

• Match History: Records of the games played, opponents, and match outcomes.

2. How We Use the Collected Data

We use the collected data solely accordingly to Table 1

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or tracking outside of the App's core functionality.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We are committed to protecting your privacy and do not sell or rent any of the data we collect.

• Public Display: Your Username and Rating Score are displayed publicly within the App's leaderboards and matchmaking screens to all other Users.

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights or property, or ensure the safety of our Users or the public.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Storage Location: Your Username and Rating Score are stored on our secure matchmaking server located in the United States.

• Security Measures: We implement commercially reasonable data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of the data stored on our servers.

• Data Retention: We retain your Username and associated Rating Score for as long as your account is active to provide the service. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data as described in Section 5.

5. Your Rights (Account Deletion)

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data.

• Deletion Request: To request that your account and all associated data (Username, Rating Score, Match History) be permanently deleted from our servers, please contact us at dev.pitchbattle@gmail.com

• Process: Upon verifying your identity, we will delete your data within a commercially reasonable timeframe. Note that once your data is deleted, your scores and history cannot be recovered.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Kevin Xu has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
