Pitch Reflections (“the app”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a soccer journaling application that allows users to record personal game & training reflections, tactical notes, performance ratings, and optionally utilize AI assistants (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Rork.com) for reflection analysis. Your privacy is important to us, and this policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

• Personal Data: The app does not require registration or account creation. Users enter their name for profile personalization.

• Game & Training Reflection Data: Records entered by users, including match & training details, self-assessment ratings, performance notes, and tactical drawings. All data is stored locally on the device unless the user chooses to share reflections or use AI analysis features.

• AI API Keys (Optional): Users can optionally enter API keys for Google Gemini and/or OpenAI to enable AI analysis features. API keys are stored on your device and are never shared or transmitted except for direct API requests initiated by you.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Reflection Data: Used only for app functions (display, organization, analysis) and not shared externally unless the user chooses to do so.

• AI Analysis: If the user initiates AI analysis, the selected reflection data is sent directly to the chosen AI service (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Rork.com) for analysis. Match & training reflection data is only sent to an AI service when you request analysis—never automatically or without user action.

• Sharing Reflections: User data is only shared externally if the user explicitly chooses to share reflections or send data for AI analysis.

• No Ads, No Third-Party Analytics: The app does not include advertisements or use third-party analytics libraries.

3. Storage & Security

• Local Storage: All data (reflections, drawings, ratings, API keys) is stored locally using secure device storage solutions.

• No Cloud Sync by Default: Data is not uploaded or transmitted to external servers except when the user chooses to share a reflection or use AI analysis.

• API Key Security: API keys are encrypted and never exposed to other apps.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

• No Automatic Sharing: User data is private and not shared with third parties unless the user actively chooses to share a reflection or use AI analysis.

• AI Third-Party Services: When using AI analysis features, match & training reflections may be transmitted to Google Gemini, OpenAI, Rork.com, subject to each provider’s privacy policy and availability.

• User-Initiated Sharing: You control if, when, and how your reflections or analysis results are shared.

5. Children's Privacy

The app is designed for general audience use, including youth athletes under parental supervision. No personal information is collected beyond user-input profile info.

6. AI Usage & Disclaimer

AI-generated insights are a supplemental tool and are not a substitute for professional coaching or your own critical self-analysis. AI models can sometimes produce inaccurate or unexpected results, and their output should be used for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for the content you input and how you interpret the results. Always seek professional instruction.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy for app updates or changes to third-party services and requirements. The latest versions are available within the app and on our support website, if applicable.
