Biography:
Pir Masoom Shah received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Machine Learning from Central South University, China, in 2025, under the supervision of Prof. Li Min. Previously, he earned his master's degree from COMSATS University Islamabad (Islamabad Campus), Pakistan, in 2019, supervised by Prof. Munam Ali Shah and co-supervised by Prof. Saif ul Islam. He has gained extensive industry experience through collaborations with small startups, large corporations, and research labs, and has contributed to projects sponsored by the KP Police. Since September 2019, he has served as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, Pakistan. His research focuses on chain-of-thought reasoning within large language models (LLMs) for AI-driven drug discovery.
He has published part of his doctoral work in Nature Communications and is actively seeking a postdoctoral position to advance his research in computational biology, drug discovery, and other cutting-edge deep learning applications.
