Biography:

Pir Masoom Shah received his M.S. degree in Computer Science and Machine Learning from COMSATS University Islamabad, (Islamabad Campus) Pakistan, in 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Munam Ali Shah and co-supervision by Prof. Saif ul Islam. He has gained extensive industry experience through collaborations with small startups, large corporations, and research labs, and has contributed to projects sponsored by the KP Police. Since September 2019, he has served as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, Pakistan. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. at CSU Li's Bioinformatics Group under the supervision of Prof. Li Min at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Central South University, China. His research focuses on chain-of-thought reasoning within large language models (LLMs) for AI-driven drug discovery. He has published part of his Ph.D. work in Nature Communications. He is currently seeking a postdoctoral position to advance his research career in computational biology, drug discovery, and other cutting-edge deep learning applications.
