Biography:

Pir Masoom Shah received his Doctor of Engineering (Computer Science and Technology) from Central South University, China, in 2025, under the supervision of Prof. Li Min. Previously, he earned his master's degree in Computer Science from COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2019, under the supervision of Prof. Munam Ali Shah and co-supervision of Prof. Saif ul Islam. He has academic, research, and AI engineering experience spanning artificial intelligence, drug discovery, and medical image analysis. From 2019 to 2022, he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, Pakistan. 

 He has published part of his doctoral research in Nature Communications and currently conducts research in AI-driven drug discovery, computational biology, and deep learning, with a focus on drug–target affinity prediction, generative molecular design, large language models, and multi-omics-guided precision drug design. He is also a recipient of the Research Fund for International Young Scientists from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), serving as a Core PI with funding of RMB 200,000.

He is currently seeking a postdoctoral research opportunity to contribute to interdisciplinary research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computational biology, and drug discovery.
