PipTally (“the app”) is a mobile app for tracking domino match scores.
This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed, why it is processed, and what choices you have.

This Policy applies to the PipTally iOS app.
3.1 Data you enter in the app
Player/team names.
Scores, match history, and app settings.
Backup files you manually create/export.
This data is stored locally on your device.
3.2 Technical and advertising data (third parties)
The free version shows ads using Google AdMob.
When serving ads, Google may process technical data such as:
Device and advertising identifiers (subject to system availability/permissions).
Approximate IP address.
Ad interaction data.
Diagnostics, fraud-prevention, performance, and ad measurement data.

To provide core app features (matches, history, settings).
To support local backup/export functionality.
To show ads in the free version.
To meet legal obligations and prevent abuse/fraud (by advertising providers).
We use Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage privacy choices where required (for example, EEA/UK/Switzerland).
You can manage your ad privacy choices in the app at: Settings > Privacy > Manage Ad Privacy.
The app currently sends non-personalized ad requests by default.
The app does not require an account or login.
The app does not currently request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission for cross-app or cross-website tracking.
We do not sell personal data.
We may share data with service providers that are necessary to run the app (for example, ad network providers), subject to their own policies and safeguards.
Match and settings data: stored locally until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Exported backups: retained wherever you choose to store/share those files.
We use reasonable measures to protect data processed by the app.
No system is 100% secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:
Access.
Correction.
Deletion.
Objection/restriction.
Portability.
Withdrawal of consent (where applicable).

Where required by law (for example, GDPR), we will respond within applicable legal timelines.
PipTally is not intentionally directed to children for commercial personal-data processing.
If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us so we can review and address it.
When third-party services are used (for example, Google), data may be processed in different countries under their legal/contractual transfer mechanisms.
We may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical, or product changes.
The current version will always be published at this URL with an updated “Last updated” date.
