• PIPIMOO Earbuds — biggest strength: A hybrid ANC + ENC noise-cancelling system paired with a full-color LED touch screen on the charging case, plus a claimed 40-hour total battery life and IPX7 waterproofing.
• PIPIMOO Earbuds — biggest trade-off: All that tech means a more complex product to learn — 13 touch-screen functions and touch controls take some getting used to, and the in-ear fit won't suit everyone.
• SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro & — biggest strength: A clean, distraction-free listening experience with a clip-style design, wireless Bluetooth connectivity, and no complicated menus or modes to manage.
• SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro & — biggest trade-off: No active noise cancellation at all, so it won't block out the world the way the PIPIMOO set aims to.
• Who should buy PIPIMOO Earbuds: Commuters, travelers, gym-goers, and anyone who wants noise cancelling, long battery life, and a gadget-y case they can interact with.
• Who should buy SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro &: Casual listeners who want a simple, comfortable clip-on earbud for everyday music and calls without extra features to fiddle with.
The PIPIMOO Earbuds are built for someone who treats their earbuds as a multi-tool, not just a pair of speakers. The headline feature is the hybrid ANC + ENC system: active noise cancellation tackles ambient sound, while ENC handles voice pickup on calls. According to the data sheet, the noise cancelling is "automatically tailored" — it detects external noise and picks a cancellation level for your surroundings. That's the kind of thing that matters on a noisy train platform or in a busy open-plan office.
The second standout is the charging case. Instead of a plain LED dot, it has a full-color touch screen with 13 switchable functions. You can check date and time, battery percentage for both the buds and the case, Bluetooth connection status, sound-effect selection, ambient sound, equalizer settings, and even a "find your headphones" feature. The case also uses a magnetic flip-cover design, which keeps the buds secure and makes the whole thing smaller in a pocket. Pairing is one-touch, and Bluetooth 5.4 gives you a claimed 15-meter range.
Then there's the endurance angle. A one-hour charge is stated to deliver up to 40 hours of total playback, and 3C fast charging cuts downtime. Each earbud weighs just 0.12 oz, so they're designed for all-day wear, and IPX7 waterproofing means sweat, rain, and splashes shouldn't be a problem. The 32-ohm dynamic drivers cover a 20 Hz–20,000 Hz range.
Who should buy it: Runners, gym users, frequent flyers, commuters, and anyone who wants noise cancelling plus a case that does more than hold a charge. Who should skip it: If you hate touch controls, don't want to learn a screen interface, or prefer a non in-ear fit, this isn't the one.
The SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro & H3 is a much simpler proposition. It's a wireless Bluetooth in-ear earbud with a clip-on design — hence the "PearlClip" name — and that's essentially the whole pitch. There's no active noise cancellation here; the data sheet lists noise control as "None." That's not a flaw so much as a design choice. This is a set for people who want to hear their music and their surroundings at the same time, or who simply don't want the pressure and occlusion of a noise-cancelling in-ear seal.
Because it clips rather than seals deep into the ear canal, the fit philosophy is different from the PIPIMOO set. Clips tend to feel lighter and stay put without you having to jam anything into your ear, which some listeners find more comfortable over long stretches. The trade-off is obvious: without ANC and without a deep seal, you get far less isolation. On a plane or a subway, you'll hear more of the world.
The feature list is deliberately short. No touch screen, no equalizer modes, no ambient-sound toggles, no battery percentage display described in the data sheet. What you get is Bluetooth wireless connectivity, an in-ear placement, and the SoundPEATS brand behind it. For a lot of people, that's exactly enough.
Who should buy it: Casual listeners, podcast fans, and anyone who wants a comfortable clip-on earbud for calls, music, and everyday use without menus or modes. Who should skip it: If you need noise cancellation, long battery specs, waterproofing, or a case with a screen, this isn't the product for you.
• Best for noise cancellation → PIPIMOO Earbuds. It's the only one of the two with active noise cancelling (hybrid ANC plus ENC).
• Best for battery life → PIPIMOO Earbuds. Up to 40 hours total playback with a 1-hour charge and 3C fast charging.
• Best for workouts and wet weather → PIPIMOO Earbuds. IPX7 waterproofing and 0.12 oz per bud make it the sportier pick.
• Best for travel and commuting → PIPIMOO Earbuds. Automatic noise cancelling plus a 15-meter Bluetooth 5.4 range suits planes, trains, and busy streets.
• Best for simplicity → SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro &. No menus, no modes, no touch screen — just Bluetooth and a clip-on fit.
• Best for casual, all-day listening → SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro &. The clip design avoids a deep in-ear seal, which many people find easier to wear for hours.
• Best for gadget lovers → PIPIMOO Earbuds. The 13-function color touch screen, find-my-earbuds feature, and EQ modes are for people who enjoy tinkering.
• Best for hearing your surroundings → SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro &. With noise control set to none, you stay aware of what's around you.
In my opinion, the PIPIMOO Earbuds are the stronger buy for most people. The hybrid ANC, the automatic noise-cancelling tailoring, the 40-hour battery claim, and the IPX7 rating cover the things that actually matter day to day — blocking noise, lasting through a week of commutes, and surviving sweat and rain. The touch-screen case is a genuine differentiator too. I'd only steer you toward the SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro & if you specifically want a clip-on fit, no noise cancelling, and zero setup fuss. Check the current price on Amazon for both before you decide, since that's the one variable specs can't tell you.
Hybrid ANC means the earbuds use microphones on both the outside and the inside of the bud to cancel noise. The outer mic catches ambient sound, the inner mic catches what's left near your ear, and the system cancels both. The PIPIMOO Earbuds use this approach.
ANC stands for Active Noise Cancellation. It uses microphones and electronics to actively cancel out background sound rather than just blocking it physically. The PIPIMOO Earbuds support ANC plus ENC, while the SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro & has no noise control at all.
They're earbuds that combine feed-forward and feed-back microphones for noise cancelling — essentially a more effective version of standard ANC. They tend to handle a wider range of frequencies than single-mic designs. The PIPIMOO Earbuds fit this description.
They're wireless earbuds with built-in active noise cancellation, so you can reduce surrounding noise without turning up the volume. If that's your priority, the PIPIMOO Earbuds are the pick between these two; if you'd rather stay aware of your surroundings, the SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro & is the better fit.
