Merengue has participated in the annual asteroid ball tournament in the andromeda galaxy. Just as the tournament ends, a galaxywide entry ban has been announced. Not only that, alse the robotic Vobun army has been multiplying without control. Just as Merengue and her bodyguard Sorbet are trying to warp out of the galaxy, their ship gets struck with another spaceship, knocking the neutrino drive out. They now have to go the long way, and due to the entry ban they can't get help from their home planet.

Princess Merengue
She's the princess of the Dulcian monarchy. She is visiting the andromeda Galaxy to attend the annual asteroid ball tournament. She is... not the smartest. She jumps into action without much thougt and sometimes has problems to differentiate her inside voice with her outside voice. Thankfully she has enough time to learn before she gets to the throne.
Sorbet Irridite
She's the princess' personal bodyguard and from the 776th generation of the Irridites, a family that has been guarding the Dulcian monarchy for generations. She's stuck with Merengue for the whole journey. She might not look like it, but she's leagues stronger than her. She tries to keep a level head in all situations.
She is able to conduct and produce electricity.
