Pipe  Silva

David Felipe "Pipe" Silva is a Colombian saxophonist and music producer born in Bogotá. He began his musical studies at an early age and, at 16, joined his school's band as a saxophonist. He went on to study for four years at a university in Bogotá before receiving a full-tuition scholarship to Berklee College of Music, prompting his move to Boston in 2019.

After graduating from Berklee in 2024, Silva has built an active international touring career. In 2018, at the age of 20, he was invited to participate in the World Saxophone Congress, held in Zagreb, Croatia.
He has performed as a saxophonist on notable platforms such as NPR's Tiny Desk Concert, recorded in Washington, D.C., alongside Colombian singer Juanes. He has also taken the stage at major festivals, including Lollapalooza Chile and Argentina 2025 with the band Los Petit Fellas, and the Estéreo Picnic festival in both 2024 and 2025 alongside the celebrated Dominican merengue group Proyecto Uno.

With the release of his debut EP in trio format, "Sosiego", Silva remains an active and vital presence in Bogotá's jazz scene.
