About Me:

My name is Morgan Furdek, and the 2025-2026 school year will be my fifth year as a school counselor. I have been married to my husband for four years, but we have been together for a total of 12 years. We have a sweet 2-year-old daughter and a baby girl due in November. 

My hobbies include spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy playing golf in my free time. I also love watching football with my husband on the weekends. 

Education:

I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in 2016 from KSU! I started my career in child welfare for 5 years.  In May 2021, I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene. I worked in the Blue Valley School District for 4 years as a counselor. I am thrilled to be a Piper Pirate this year!

About Me:

My name is Serena Keenan and I've been a school counselor at Piper Prairie since 2023 and school counselor since 2020. I love working in the Piper community!

Outside of school, I share my life with my husband Anthony, and our dog, Cricket. When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my family and friends, playing board games, reading, and watching TV.

I am so excited to be working with your kids at Prairie and am looking forward to another great year!

Education:

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2017 and a Masters of Science in School Counseling in 2020 both from Pittsburg State University!
