Any controller would take NI about 3 days to map, test and polish. For these mixers NI would be dedicating man hrs into something where pioneer/rane and serato will be getting paid for and NI gets stuck with spending money to do it.

SO, IT WORKS BUT, Example: the dual deck buttons also change the view of the screen like you were pressing space bar on keyboard, also cannot use sync button or even do proper searches with the toggle button to serach tracks correctly. I am currently trying to figure out how change these but it does work with version 7.4.2 ddj 1000 mapping.. well so far

This is excellent, I've been using RB up spotting this mapping last week, tested it with TP2 at first, can't begin to tell how impressed I am with the tightness of the entire thing, so much so I upgraded to TP3 within 3 hours of playing with it on TP2 & now you've just fixed the one little niggle I had with the play/pause button. Thank you so much for this & keep up the hard work.

c) sync button is not toggle: this was requested several times. The implemented behavior is very useful on OLD, poorly beatgrided music. For new music I agree a toggle button is more useful. I've now changed this on the new mapping.

Method 2: DjayPro uses simple MIDI commands to display basic information. I've tried to use these midi out, but the traktor controller manager was not expressive enough to generate these exact midi out valuesDemo: =jCUpDQD7i_M

glad that you enjoyed!! Some comments:1) manual effects: please see at exactly 21:20 of the video. Selecting channel 1 or 2 moves the FXUnit4 selection between decks A and B. If you still have trouble please make me a quick mobile phone video showing of your traktor screen2) Sync: this is on purpose, and is to match tempoSync behavior (instead of beatsync). In that mode pressing sync is useful to reset the phase after you nudge the phase with the jogs. This is the behavior of e.g. Serato. It also makes the button work like the hot cues (press = "do it"; shift+press = delete/sync off).On the next revision I will try to make this behavior configurable.3) TP2: All functions of the current mapping will work fine in TP2 "as-is". The biggest missing functionality is that the colorFX will always point to filter. On the next revision I will try to make a TP2-specific mapping that makes these buttons behave as macroFX instead (wormhole, laserslicer, etc)

I now see the problem now that the effects seem NOT working on the individual channels, and not on MST. It actually changes FX, but the FX snapshot has the parameter at zero; this can be manually changed using the FX "arrow" buttons, and then saving a manual snaphot by hand. For an example that is working, the very first FX (delay T3) has a good snapshot. I will fix this when I touch the mapping again, and ensure that all commands have non-zero parameters

Yes, please! I would love to see an official Traktor mapping for the MCX8000. It would be awesome if the screens were able to work with Traktor, but I would be okay with a mapping where everything else works exactly as it should. There is already an official Traktor mapping for the MC7000, so why not one for the MCX8000. I love the controller and I really like Serato, but Traktor allows for more creativity and control. I want to use my favorite controller with my favorite software!

The only thing that would have changed that is if Denon decided not to release the MC7000 then the MCX8000 would have probably gotten a Denon .tsi mapping file that would function the same as any other Traktor user mapping - no screens, no jog LED rotating lights.

Pioneer have finally launched their official Traktor tsi mapping for the XDJ-R1 DJ Controller. There are a few features that you will be missing when using with Traktor but for the full details check out their official video below.

The Controller Manager unifies all of Traktor's MIDI and keyboard mappings, as well as MIDI setup on one page in the Preferences. Settings and mappings can be imported, exported, and customized all from this one Preferences page.

Before creating any new controller mapping, we recommend to first check if you can select your MIDI controller using the Setup Wizard. There are templates available for many MIDI controllers, which can be loaded with the Setup Wizard.

By default, all MIDI In- and Out-Ports are active per mapping. This can cause unintended behavior of your whole MIDI setup. The first thing to do is to select the appropriate MIDI device for each MIDI mapping instead of leaving it on All Ports.

All mappings are concurrently active! If unintended behavior is observed for certain Controls, try to isolate the problem by disabling all other mappings, which can be done by setting the In- and Out-Ports to "None."

Device: Selects a mapping to edit. The selection does not define the active mapping because all mappings are always active unless you set the In- and Out-Ports to None.

In-Port: Defines the MIDI In port for the selected mapping. It is set to All by default and should be changed to your physical MIDI in-port or to a virtual MIDI port.

Out-Port: This defines the MIDI Out port for the selected mapping. It is set to All by default and should be set to your physical MIDI out-port or to a virtual MIDI port.

Import: Here you can add a mapping to the Device list from your local drive. Mappings that are already loaded will not be overwritten or deleted. Since this function always creates a new device, you need to delete the other devices in the list if you do not want to use them at the same time.

Modifier State: Displays the current value for each of the eight modifiers within the selected mapping, and is mainly used as a debugging tool for complex mappings. If you work with modifiers, it is important to know what value is assigned to a modifier, particularly if something is not working as intended.

The Assignment Table lists all assignments for the mapping that is selected in the Device drop-down menu under Device Setup. Remember that all mapped devices are active at the same time, not just the currently selected mapping.

You can sort the Assignment Table by any column if you click on the header of the column, which is very useful for large mappings. Also adding descriptive comments for each Control assignment can be very helpful allowing you to sort by the comment column.

The currently selected Control in the list is highlighted in yellow. If there is another Control in the list and it has the same Control source assigned in the Mapped to column as the selected Control, this will be highlighted in a darker yellow. This feature is especially useful for debugging large mapping lists.

Modifier Conditions: A Modifier allows you to define a Control, either a MIDI message or keyboard key (depending on the mapping), to operate another Control depending on one or even two condition(s).

Enc.-Mode: You can switch between two types of encoders. 7Fh/01h is standard for most controllers. However if your encoder mapping does not behave as intended (e.g. inverted) or the mapped parameter reacts too coarsely, it is most likely due to the wrong encoder mode and we recommend trying the alternate mode (3Fh/41h).

In this section, you will find a list of all MIDI controls that you can assign to external MIDI controllers with the Controller Manager in Traktor's Preferences. For more information on mapping MIDI controls to external controllers, refer to Configuring MIDI Controller for Controlling Traktor.

Got so use to using all the AI features and using a Pioneer Wego 4 for years. Now I have the XDJ-RX3 it is a shame that there is no mapping as of yet to exploit this fantastic product using Djay. Now spending too much time trying to learn Rekordbox and intelligent crates which are just rules vs djaying with a compatible Djay controller it is seamless when streaming from Tidal. Common Algoriddem get a mapping for this product so we can push the AI djaying to the next level with advanced pioneer products

There comes a time in every DJ's career where you'll start to wish that your DJ hardware offered more control of your software's features and a better workflow. Native Instruments Traktor users are in luck, because Traktor offers the ability to map all of the software's features to a MIDI controller. While this sounds like a dream come true, the reality is that creating great mappings can be tricky. Unless you have hours to spend troubleshooting your own mappings, or like to spend time online searching for DIY-ones, creating or finding good quality mappings can be very challenging. Many of us have gone without a customized mapping and simply used the built-in Traktor mapping for controllers.

MIDI Monsters has mappings available for the following pieces of equipment: the Maschine Studio, Traktor Kontrol X1 MK1, Pioneer CDJ 2000 nexus, Pioneer CDJ 2000, Traktor Kontrol F1, Maschine MK1, and the Maschine MK2. I'm a Traktor Kontrol X1 user, and decided to test drive the Kontrol X1 MK1 mapping. The mapping came with two .tsi files, (these are the mapping files that Traktor uses) one for Deck A/B and a second for Decks C/D. You can use the Deck A/B mapping on its own, or both of them together, if you prefer to use two X1s.

The mapping came with an excellent manual that helped me to easily install the mappings into Traktor. Even if you've never used a customized mapping before, you'll be able to install the MIDI Monsters mappings in minutes if you follow the instructions. The Monsters mapping enhances the 'standard' X1 mapping; DJs who are accustomed to the standard one will find there's only a slight learning curve.

A few of the best features of the X1 MK1 Monsters mapping include the ability to scroll through the Traktor 'tree' or playlist window on the left, as well as assign all four FX units in Traktor to any deck. I also like the fact that you can hold down shift and the right encoder and scroll through your 'favorite' playlists in Traktor (these are the playlists that are visible underneath the track decks). This feature will help DJs to quickly select their best tracks in the heat of a live set. 17dc91bb1f
