Hi! I'm Sherilyn, a college student and a home baker.

I have a sweet tooth and I love pink. Hence the name, "Pinks & Sweets".

It all started with cookies.

When I was younger, I already have that "curiosity" on how to make cookies. In elementary, my classmate brought her baked cookies and I asked her to teach me how to do it. I invited her at my house and she taught me how to make butter cookies. I loved it very much.

Several years later, the pandemic happened. We're all stuck at home. Hungry. Since we all have nothing much to do at home, all we can think about is food. I decided to learn some recipes with the help of YouTube videos. I tried baking different pastries like cookies, banana bread, and cupcakes. To earn a little, I started selling banana bread and people loved it.

Later on, I enrolled at TESDA - Cake Making. My knowledge in baking improved and I now bake cakes. I am happy that I got an opportunity to learn, and at the same time, enjoy baking and decorating cakes. I am new in this field and I try to be better everyday. I've also joined paid tutorial groups so that I'll have more knowledge with cakes.
