Obolo people are found in Rivers State and Akwa Ibom State. They are the indigenes of Andoni LGA in Rivers State and Eastern Obolo LGA in Akwa Ibom state respectively. The Obolo people occupy the longest stretch of the Niger Delta mangroves belt, which houses the largest oil and gas deposits in the Gulf of Guinea. Obolo Nation is the Hub of Crude oil and other mineral resources both onshore and offshore. The OML 13 is located in Eastern Obolo.
