EXPERIENCE

Ted grew up in Ocala. Taking his first shop class at Forest High School (the same school his mother and grandmother graduated from but was then known as Ocala High). Straight out of high school he began working at various dealerships in town. Jean and Ted met and married in 1986. One college degree and three kids later Jean and Ted made the jump to owners/operators of Pineywoods Automotive, Inc. The business name is an homage to Ted's grandparents, Ralph and Ethel Stancil. Ted grew up baling hay and working cattle just blocks from the shop at Stancil's corner (corner of Highway 27 and Airport Road) on Stancil's Pineywoods Farm. Ted and the Technicians provide customers with the best knowledge and experience it takes to repair and maintain your vehicle. Jean runs the customer service desk, helping you understand the repairs and reviewing your options. Serving Ocala and their neighbors along the NW Highway 27 corridor is an honor and a pleasure for Jean and Ted.
