YOUTH HOCKEY

The Pinehurst Hockey Association (PHA) is a privately organized inline puck hockey league. Games are played at Rassie Wicker Park in Pinehurst, NC.

Adult Hockey: Congrats to the Blooze Brothers on winning the Spring 2026 Keg Championship! A double-elimination tournament is scheduled for August 8th, you can sign-up here. Fall 2026 registration is open, join here.

Youth Hockey: The Village of Pinehurst holds Kid's Clinics on Fridays at 6pm. The Village, in partnership with the PHA, will offer a Youth Roller Hockey League beginning in April 2027. Submit your interest.

SUMMER TOURNAMENT

The PHA is hosting a One-Day Double-Elimination Tournament. 6 team slots available. All teams guaranteed 2 games with the possibility of 6-7 games. Games begin Saturday (Aug 8) at 5:00 PM and continue until completed. Short games, refs provided, free food (pizza/BBQ), and a prize for the champion. Bring your own team or sign-up by yourself and get rostered on a "House Team".

What: Single Day Double Elimination Tournament.

Who: 18+ ages only. Open to men and women of all skill levels both as individual players or as whole team.

When: August 8th, 2026. 4pm until *11pm.

Where: Rassie Wicker Park rink in Pinehurst, NC (outdoor rink, coated concrete).

YOUTH HOCKEY

The Village of Pinehurst has partnered with the Pinehurst Hockey Association (PHA) to create a Youth Roller Hockey League. The inaugural season will be for players ages 8–12, with plans to expand to additional age groups as interest grows. The league is managed by the Village and coached by PHA players and volunteers from the Kid's Clinic. The Village also provides on-going Youth Hockey Clinics on Fridays at 6pm.

Details:

• Spring Season is Apr-May 2027, Fall Season Sep-Oct 2028

• Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00–8:00 PM (1 hour per team)

• Registration: $30 (Village residents) / $60 (non-residents)

• Jersey included but parents must provide all required safety equipment (Hockey helmet with full face cage or shield, Skates, Stick, Shin guards, Elbow pads, Mouthguard, optional Girdle or hockey pants).

• Volunteer coaches from the Pinehurst Hockey Association will lead the program. Players should already have basic skating skills and be comfortable skating independently before registering.
