Registration for the Fall 2026 season is closed but you can still join the wait/sub list.

YOUTH HOCKEY

The Village of Pinehurst has partnered with the Pinehurst Hockey Association (PHA) to create a Youth Roller Hockey League. The inaugural season will be for players ages 8–12, with plans to expand to additional age groups as interest grows. The league is managed by the Village and coached by PHA players and volunteers from the Kid's Clinic. The Village also provides on-going Youth Hockey Clinics on Fridays at 6pm.

Clinic Details:

• Fridays 6-7pm. While there are specific Fall, Spring, and Summer dates for official sessions; there will usually be kids and coaches present on most occasions (weather permitting).

• Sanctioned by the Village of Pinehurst and are ran by volunteer coaches.

• Clinics are free but you should register on the Pinehurst Parks & Rec Department.

• Players must have a Helmet, Skates, and Stick. Shin guards and Gloves are highly recommended. Elbow pads, Mouthguard, and Girdle or Hockey Pants are suggested.

League Details:

• Spring Season is Apr-May 2027, Fall Season Sep-Oct 2028

• Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00–8:00 PM (1 hour per team)

• Registration: $30 (Village residents) / $60 (non-residents)

• Jersey included but parents must provide all required safety equipment (Hockey helmet with full face cage or shield, Skates, Stick, Shin guards, Elbow pads, Mouthguard, optional Girdle or hockey pants).

• Volunteer coaches from the Pinehurst Hockey Association will lead the program. Players should already be confident skating independently before registering.

*Be sure to include your size and color preference if applicable. Orders will be fulfilled in at the start of the next season (Spring 2027).
