Pinawa's Town Markets were most recently organized by the Winnipeg River Recreation District. The LGD asked if we would be interested in taking it on, since they are no longer part of the district, and didn't really have the resources to dedicate to it at this time.
Why us? We hosted three outdoor popup markets this summer on the Sunova Shopping Mall property, each one bigger than the last, culminating with our first-ever Night Market, complete with entertainment and food trucks.
Brittney Murray owns SmallTownDreams204: All things Custom: Apparel, Home Decor, Drinkware, Party Stuff and More! Brittney recruited some terrific new vendors to our summer markets, and she is looking after the vendor applications for this event.
Louise Daymond owns Leaveit2Lou Designs. In addition to custom apparel decoration, she has handmade dolls, teddy bears and an assortment of machine embroidery items. Louise is taking care of the logistics, including volunteer assignments.
Both of us will have tables at the event, which makes us triply appreciative of all the volunteer help we can get :)
