ABA therapy is about helping each person build skills that support their independence, confidence, and everyday success. I provide individualized behaviour support services tailored to personal strengths, needs, and goals.
Each program is designed to be meaningful and functional, focusing on areas such as communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, and daily living skills. Using evidence-based strategies and a compassionate, person-centered approach, I help support skill development that carries over into home, school, and community environments.
ABA Therapy & Behaviour Support Services
Providing individualized ABA therapy and behaviour support services under the supervision of Angela Armstrong, M.Ed, BCBA/RBA. Services are designed to support meaningful skill development and reduce barriers to independence using evidence-based, person-centered strategies. Each program is tailored to individual strengths and needs, with a focus on practical skills that carry over into everyday environments such as home, school, and the community.
Daily Life Skills
Providing support in building independence in essential everyday routines. This includes skills such as personal care, organization, following routines, and completing age-appropriate household tasks. The focus is on increasing confidence and independence in managing daily responsibilities.
Social Skills & Play/Leisure Skills
Providing support in developing meaningful and appropriate interactions with peers and adults. Areas of focus may include conversation skills, turn-taking, perspective-taking, friendship-building, and understanding social cues. Skills are taught in both structured and natural environments to support real-world application. Play-based and structured teaching approaches are used to support communication, social interaction, attention, and early learning. Play and leisure skills are also developed to encourage flexibility, engagement, and independent recreation.
Parent Coaching & Training Services
Providing parent coaching and training to support caregivers in understanding and implementing behaviour strategies at home. Sessions focus on practical tools, consistency, and collaboration to help families support skill development and manage challenging behaviours across daily routines.
Language & Communication Skills
Providing support in developing expressive and receptive communication skills. This may include verbal language, nonverbal communication, or augmentative and alternative communication systems. The goal is to help individuals express needs, make choices, and interact more effectively with others.
Community Integration Services
Providing support in building independence and confidence in real-world community environments. This includes learning to navigate settings such as stores, recreational spaces, and public services, while also developing safety awareness and appropriate social behaviour in the community.
Vocational & Teen Support Services
Providing support to adolescents and young adults in building skills for future employment and greater independence. This may include workplace readiness, routines, time management, social expectations in work settings, and exploring vocational interests in a structured and supportive way.
Early Intervention
Providing early intervention support for young children focused on foundational developmental skills during critical learning years. Early intervention provides specialized support for children who may be experiencing developmental, learning, communication, behavioural, or social challenges during their early years. Through individualized strategies and family-centered care, early intervention helps children build essential skills, gain confidence, and reach important developmental milestones. By addressing concerns early, children are given the best possible foundation for future learning, independence, and overall success.
School & Academic Support Services
Providing support for success in educational settings. This may include classroom readiness, task completion, following instructions, organization, and behaviour support within school routines. The goal is to promote participation, learning, and positive school experiences.
