I am Pinaki Banerjee. I joined Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar as a Ramanujan fellow in April 2025. I completed my PhD from IMSc, Chennai and after that spent time as postdoc at ICTS Bangalore , IIT Kanpur , IAS Princeton and ICTP-SAIFR.
My research interests span over several aspects of quantum field theories and string theory. Currently I am mostly working on topics related to scattering amplitudes (for particles and strings) and a few related topics involving conformal field theories and gauge/gravity dualities.
