1. AI Systems and Engineering Implementation (AI系统与工程实现): I apply economic thinking and optimization methods to deploy AI technologies in managerial decision-making and operational systems. This includes LLM-enabled demand estimation, forecasting, causal reasoning, economic simulation, algorithm self-evolution, and incentive design for cooperation in multi-agent engineering systems. 从经济学机制与优化方法出发,将大模型等 AI 技术应用于管理决策与系统设计。具体包括大模型赋能预测、因果推断、经济模拟、算法自演化,以及通过激励设计促进多主体工程系统中的协作等。

“From Small to Large: A Graph Convolutional Network Approach for Solving Assortment Optimization Problems” leverages GCNs to accelerate assortment optimization.
“Menu Optimization for Meal Delivery Platforms” improves the operational performance of a major Canadian food-delivery company.
“Booking Funnel and Substitution-Aware User Behavior Modeling for Demand Prediction and Joint Room Pricing” develops a funnel-aware and substitution-aware AI framework for hotel demand prediction and joint room pricing on large-scale online travel platforms.
“Structural Transfer for Choice Prediction in Multi-Location Retail” develops a structural transfer learning framework for cold-start choice prediction in long-tail retail outlets, validated on Fengyi Technology’s smart vending cabinet network.
2. Microeconomic Modeling and Algorithm Design (数学建模与算法设计): I develop efficient algorithms with theoretical guarantees for mathematical problems arising in operations, market design, and data-driven decision-making. My work focuses on nonparametric demand estimation, network auctions and matching, recommendation and pricing optimization, and the improvement of industry-standard algorithms. 面向运营管理与市场设计中的数学问题,设计高效算法并提供理论保证。具体包括消费者行为建模与非参估计、网络拍卖与匹配算法、以及行业标准算法的改进与理论分析等。
Representative works include:
“Assortment Optimization with Downward Feasibility: Efficient Heuristics Based on Independent Demands” and “Prophet Inequalities with Stochastic Choices” propose linear surrogates to solve general recommendation problems.
“RCS Approximations for Assortment Optimization with Sequential Consumer Behavior” uses the simple RCS model to solve sequential assortment problems.
3. Platform, Market, and Regulatory Ecosystems (商业洞察与市场设计): I use economic and game-theoretic modeling to study how emerging business ecosystems affect firms, consumers, markets, and social welfare. Topics include platform regulation, fairness and privacy protection, discriminatory pricing, live-streaming advertising, AI-generated content, and energy-market design under renewable integration. 关注新商业生态的形成及其对企业、市场与社会福利的影响。具体包括绿电接入下的能源市场设计、数字平台治理与监管机制、电商生态演化,以及新技术对商业模式和市场结构的影响等。
