27-10-2025: Dr. Gui Hu was invited to share Marie Curie research progress and application insights at the UK-China Marie Curie Fellows Chapter at the university of Cambridge, Cambridge.
13-11-2025: Dr. Gui Hu attended the 2025 International Tsunami Symposium (ITS), India and delivered an oral presentation on 2025 Kamchaka earthquake and tsunami.

9-12~12-12-2025: Dr. Gui Hu attend the International Ocean Science Forum and deliver a speech at Ocean University of China.
24-12~26-12-2025: Dr. Gui Hu was invited to attend the Earth Science meeting and deliver a keynote at Nanjing University in China.
15-03-2026: Dr. Gui Hu was invited to Queen Mary University of London to share his research and personal experiences.
31-03-2026: Dr. Gui Hu delivered an oral presentation titled “Analysis of the 2025 Kenchaka Tsunami” at the International Mete-Tsunami Research Seminar.
12~14-04-2026: Dr. Gui Hu attended the Young Coastal Scientists and Engineers Conference (YCSEC) at the University of Nottingham. I had the honour of chairing the Poster Oral Session and delivering a presentation on the tsunami generated by the 8 April 2025 Mw 8.8 Kamchatka earthquake, focusing on how earthquake source characteristics influence tsunami generation, near-field impacts, and transoceanic propagation across the Pacific Ocean.
