1. Overview
Pillum Med ("the App") is a medication-reminder and personal health-tracking application for iOS. We take the privacy of your health information seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is stored, and your rights regarding that data.
The short version: All data you enter stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal or health information with anyone.

2. Data We Collect and Why
All data listed below is entered by you and stored exclusively on your device using Apple's Core Data framework and iOS system storage (UserDefaults). None of this data is transmitted to our servers or any third party.
2.1 Personal Profile
- Name, email address (optional), date of birth, biological sex, height, weight, wake time, sleep time
Purpose: To personalise your experience, display your name in the app, and help contextualise health data you enter.
2.2 Medication Information
- Medication name, strength, dosage form, dosing schedule, pill inventory count, start and end dates
Purpose: To display your medication schedule, send dose reminders, and track your supply.
2.3 Dose Logs
- Whether each scheduled dose was taken, skipped, or missed; timestamp; skip reason; optional notes
Purpose: To show your adherence history and generate insights in the Insights tab.
2.4 Health Measurements
- Blood pressure, weight, temperature, heart rate, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, body fat, sleep duration, step count, activity minutes, mood, pain level, blood glucose, cholesterol panel
Purpose: To let you log and review personal health trends over time within the App.
2.5 Refill History
- Medication name, refill date, quantity, pharmacy name
Purpose: To track when you refilled prescriptions and help predict supply needs.
2.6 Prescriptions, Pharmacies, and Doctors
- Prescription name and diagnosis; pharmacy and doctor names, phone numbers, and addresses
Purpose: To organise your care information in one place for your own reference.
2.7 App Preferences
- Theme, language preference, notification settings, colour accent
Purpose: To apply your chosen display settings.

3. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework (an encrypted, on-device SQLite database) and iOS UserDefaults. The App does not have a backend server, does not connect to the internet, and does not sync to any cloud service.
Your device's built-in security (iOS passcode, Face ID, Touch ID) protects local data. We recommend keeping your device and iOS up to date to benefit from Apple's ongoing security improvements.

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your personal data or health information with any third party — not advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or any other party.
The App contains no third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, advertising frameworks, or crash-reporting services.

5. Permissions We Request
Notifications — requested during onboarding (optional). Used to send dose reminder alerts at your scheduled times. You can deny or revoke this at any time in iOS Settings → Pillum Med → Notifications without affecting other app functionality.
The App's interface includes a "Health sync" option that is not yet active — it does not currently access Apple HealthKit or any health data outside the App.

6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us at info@cetussystems.com and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights and Choices
Because all data is stored on your device, you have full control:
- Access: All data you entered is visible within the App at any time.
- Correction: You can edit your profile, medications, and health entries directly in the App.
- Deletion: Use Settings → Delete All Data within the App to permanently erase all data, or delete the App from your device to remove all locally stored information.
- Notification opt-out: Revoke notification permission any time in iOS Settings → Pillum Med → Notifications.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively. Because we do not transmit or store your data on any external system, exercising those rights is fully within your control via the App's built-in data deletion feature.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
