PillMate was born at the Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology, where bright minds and innovative ideas came together to solve real-world problems. The academy’s inspiring environment played a pivotal role in shaping our journey toward improving healthcare accessibility and medication management.

The prototyping process took about two months, during which we did 3D CAD modeling and used 3D printing to manufacture the prototype. The RP2040 served as the main controller. For testing, we used Mentos as a substitute for pills.

Collabration
We are a team of three, and we used Google Docs to collaborate on the product elements. We also used Google Sheets to calculate the final cost and determine the selling price. For 3D CAD modeling, we used Onshape because its online collaboration feature made it much easier to work together.
