One thing I wish I had known before beginning my teacher training in Pilate

Change is scary, which is something I wish I had known before beginning my Pilates teacher training. Anyone can become shaky just thinking about it, but once you start the process, you get more in tune with yourself and are freer to accept the changes. When I was asked to write a blog about my experiences becoming a Pilates instructor, I knew I had to seize the opportunity to possibly inspire someone else. My road to becoming a Pilates instructor taught me so much.

So hello there! My name is Melissa, and today I'll be sharing my journey with you in terms of the things I wish I had known when I initially set out to pursue my ambition of becoming a Pilates instructor. We all want things fast and effective, but sometimes doing so ends up costing more than if you had done your research and approached the situation properly.

After a buddy suggested that we go to Pilates once a week and just catch up as private clients, I fell in love with Pilates back in 2018. We had fun during our sessions, but I knew I wanted to learn more, so I looked online for a course. I was told that after completing it in three months, I would be able to teach. The fact that this training was short and inexpensive convinced me to enrol. I completed the course, "qualified," and quit my day job to pursue becoming a certified Pilates instructor. I struggled for a while because every time I went for an interview, things would not go well, and I never got an explanation as to why.

After a few years, I contacted Pilates Dynamics because a friend of mine had earned her certification there. However, at the time, there were significant price and certification time differences with my previous certification institute, so I chose the quicker and less expensive option instead, which ended up costing me much more than just money. I noticed a difference between Pilates Dynamics and my previous environment on my first day there. All of my inquiries were addressed, and I was given a tour and an introduction to the machinery. I was astounded at how quickly the instructor assessed my physique, modified the exercises, and gave me access to new little and large machines that I had never used before. I understood right away that investing in myself would be the best thing I could do for my flagging career because of the conviction in her voice and the lack of any stumbling indications.

You can't take any shortcuts when you invest in yourself. There are a lot of locations that provide diluted training, and when you finally walk into a true Pilates studio, you realize just how much goes into being a Pilates instructor. Prior to eventually opening your own firm, it is best to first work for a trustworthy organization. I made the decision to make time for my studies, and I was given a full year to complete my program by the end of November 2021. As a result, I am now a fully qualified Pilates instructor with the necessary education and training, and I am feeling extremely confident about my understanding of Pilates and my ability to teach Pilates.

You might be concerned about the price right now, but Pilates Dynamics gives you the option of starting your studies while making payments on a monthly payment plan. I was really relieved about this, plus the fact that they always provide a 10% early bird discount from November to December, so if you're interested, I strongly advise getting in touch with them right away.

I can still see the days when I was worried that my degree wouldn't help me find a good career and wondered if my dream of becoming a certified Pilates instructor would ever come true. I assure you that if I had known back then how important it was to choose a high-quality education over a quick and inexpensive option, I would have acted appropriately for my aspirations the first time around.
