📄 Legal Policies – Pik-A-Tech

🔹 For Team Members (Interns/Freelancers)

1. NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement)
All team members are required to sign an NDA to protect sensitive client data, internal methodologies, scripts, and intellectual property.

2. Contractual Agreement
Interns and freelancers must sign a service or internship agreement specifying:

• Confidentiality
  
  

• Termination clauses
  
  

• Compensation structure
  
  

3. Remote Work Policy

• All work must be logged via designated time-tracking tools (if applicable).
  
  

• Team communication is done through official channels only (Slack, WhatsApp, Email).
  
  

• Deadlines and availability hours must be respected.
  
  

4. Data Handling & Security

• Team members must not store client data outside of secure systems.
  
  

• Use of VPNs or secure browsers is encouraged while accessing client data.
  
  

🔹 For Clients

1. Service Agreement
Each client must sign a legal agreement outlining:

2. Payment Terms

• Payment is required in advance or per agreed milestones.

• No refunds on completed modules/phases unless due to service failure.
  
  

3. Data Privacy & Compliance

• Client data is handled in compliance with Indian IT laws and GDPR where applicable.
  
  

• We do not sell, reuse, or share any client information without written consent.
  
  

4. Intellectual Property

• Clients retain full rights to all custom development and assets post full payment.
  
  

• Pik-A-Tech may retain code frameworks and reusable modules unless exclusivity is paid for.
  
  

5. Termination Clause

• Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice (7–30 days as per agreement).
  
  

• Work done till date must be compensated.
