PSA Committee

The PIHMS Student Association Committee is the highest student legislative body at PIHMS. The Council comprises of elected full-time undergraduate student representatives. The Committee comprised of approximately 12 students, elected every 20 weeks to direct the operations of the student’s association. The PSA Committee is a student led body, tasked with representing the views and needs of PIHMS students.

PSA Committee meetings are open to all Student Association members and the Committee frequently convenes to discuss and debate over policies, initiatives and projects to ensure that they are congruent with PSA's constitutional objectives - to promote, uphold and safeguard students' interests and welfare.

Executive Committee (EXCO) - July 2023

President - Jesse Wilson

The leader of the student executive, and official representative of PIHMS Students. The President regularly meets with senior members of the PIHMS Management,  such as Mr Dean McCallum to represent students’ views and opinions.

Vice President - Oliver Sims and Nicholas McLaren

Oversees the various communication channels under the PSA, ensuring a consistent voice as well as facilitating effective communication between the Committee and the student body. Oversees the flagship events of the PSA and ensures they align to the interests and needs of the student body. Charters a stronger oversight on the policy portfolios, strengthening communication, with more identified synergies, so that the PSA can engage with their stakeholders more effectively.

Also overseas the Head of Departments (HOD) for Media and Grounds or the Head of Departments (HOD) for Sports and Social/Culture. 

Secretary - Minh Ngoc Trinh

Oversees and optimises the internal operations of the Association through internal governance, such as the communication organisations, procedures and rules.

Treasurer - Samara Kiernan

Strategises for the prudent use of Association funds and oversees the financial arm of the PSA.

Provides advice and support for the PSA Council and acts as a representative for the school.
