Adoption Policy

Adoption Requirements:

• Adoption Fee: A non-refundable fee of $45 helps cover the cost of food, bedding, and veterinary care. In cash at the time of pick-up, cash app, and PayPal are also accepted. Will hold on one for a max of 7 days, but must put a down payment.

• Habitat Approval: Adopters must submit clear photos or a video of their guinea pig setup, including cage size, bedding, food, and enrichment items.

• Veterinary Care: You must provide the name and contact information of the veterinarian you plan to use for your guinea pig’s care. I just need to know you know where to take them and won't be caught off-guard, and it is in place.

• Other Pets: Please disclose any other pets in the household so we can ensure compatibility and safety.

• Young Children: If there are children under the age of 6 in the home, we require that guinea pig interactions be fully supervised at all times to ensure the safety of both the child and the animal.

We reserve the right to deny any adoption if we feel the home is not a good fit for the guinea pig
