Along with Paolo Stellino, I am preparing a volume for the Cambridge Element series on The Philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche. The volume will be devoted to Nietzsche's Good European and it should be published in 2026.

Since January 2022, I have been PI of a two-years FCT-funded research project devoted to the philosopher of science Mary B. Hesse. The project, hosted by IFILNOVA, dealt with the post-empiricist view of scientific knowledge that Hesse outlined, and with her "new epistemology". We aimed to put her reflections on the metaphorical value of scientific language in dialogue with contemporary conceptions which recently revitalized notions such as "perspectivism" and "fictionalism" within the history and philosophy of science debate.

In October 2024 has been published a volume with selected papers among the most representative of Hesse's post-empiricist view, translated into Portuguese. See here for more details on the volume.

Another outcome of the research project is the volume on Mary Hesse that has been published in August 2025, in the Springer series "Women in the History of Philosophy and Sciences".

Along with Rachel Cristy, I have been in charge of a symposium of the open-access European Journal of Pragmatism and American Philosophy, devoted to "Pragmatism and/on Science and Scientism".

Together with Lorenzo Serini, in october 2023 I have published the collective volume Practices of Truth in Philosophy: Historical and Comparative Perspectives (Routledge), The book provides a geographically and historically diverse overview of philosophical approaches that establish a deep connection between truth and practice, or even see truth itself as a kind of practice.

Together with María de Paz, I have recently edited a special issue of the Journal for General Philosophy of Science, devoted to "Classic Methodologies in the Philosophy of Science".

I have also edited an introduction to Friedrich Nietzsche that has been published in 2023, in open-access. will collect papers written by the members of the Lisbon Nietzsche Group. 

The essays collected in this volume explore Nietzsche’s philosophical journey, revealing the unitary articulation within which the various issues he tackled fit into the thematic context of an investigation on modern culture whose primary aim is to genealogically reconstruct the origin of moral evaluations, observe their anthropological effects on mankind, and show us the path for further developments.
