One of the most successful fundraisers is darkness into light where the organisers of Pieta House and volunteers of the public community come together just before sunrise and walk along side each other. By the time they are finshed the walk it is bright. This is huge success all over Ireland, people come together to show that you are never alone, and they also take part in the event to honour a lost one that they lost to suicide. People light candles and write messages for people to remind them that they are worth living. There is a registration fee where everybody then receives a yellow T-shirt which they are reccomended to wear on the walk.
