Short bio

My name is Piero De Dominicis, I am Italian and I come from Teramo, Abruzzo.

After my bachelor's degree at LUISS University in Rome, I moved to Lisbon where I obtained my master in Economics from NOVA SBE. 

Currently I am a third-year PhD student at Bocconi University. My main research interests lie in Macroeconomics and Labor Economics. I have a keen interest in exploring how the heterogeneity among workers and firms contributes to shaping macroeconomic dynamics.

Before starting the PhD, I worked as a Market Operations Analyst at the European Central Bank.

Besides economics, I like to play basketball. In this season, I will be playing with the Bocconi Pelicans in the Serie C championship.
