At the PIER Lab, we aim to design nanostructured polymer interfaces essential for energy, environmental, and health-related technologies. Our multi-scale research program involves: (i) designing and synthesizing polymeric materials, (ii) controlling nanoscale morphologies to tailor macroscopic properties, and (iii) elucidating interfacial behaviors between the materials and their external environments. We leverage this core knowledge to advance molecular separation/purification, continuous flow chemistry, and sustainable materials for the circular economy.
