Piera Maurizio, Ph.D.
Paris, France, 2024
I am philosopher and a trained lawyer, with degrees in law from the University of Trento, Université Paris II (Assas), and UCLA School of Law. I also completed my qualification to practice law in France through the Paris Bar School. I hold a Ph.D. in Philosophy from UCLA, where my research bridged the disciplines of law and philosophy.
My work primarily focuses on Moral and Political Philosophy and Legal Theory, with additional interests in Epistemology, the Philosophy of Mind, and Artificial Intelligence.
Currently, I am a Lecturer in Philosophy at NYU Paris and a Post-doctoral researcher at Institut Jean Nicod.
