I'm an aspiring economist and a PhD student at the Department of Economics of the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. I should not be confused with brilliant Piotr Pieniążeks who earned their PhDs in chemistry, cardiology and radiology.

Originally, I was interested in economics of the Austrian school of economics only, and - in its spirit - I was skeptical of the methodology of mainstream economics, however, with time, my interests had been experiencing a smooth transition and the reverse happened: now I am interested in mainstream economics only and I think that the methodology of the Austrian school of economics is much less capable than that of mainstream economics.
