Insights Through Data and Behavior
I am a data scientist in Marketing and currently an associate professor (senior lecturer) at the University of Sussex Business School. I was an MRC fellow at the Bennett Institute for Applied Data Science at the University of Oxford and a predoctoral fellow at Stanford University. I hold a Ph.D. in Consumer Behavior and Quantitative Methods from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research interests are in judgment and decision-making as well as in applied statistical modeling. Some of my previous publications received broad media attention and were covered by the Wall Street Journal, Telegraph, Daily Mail, Sun, Mirror, Express, Cosmopolitan, Sky News, and others. My research agenda covers topics in consumer behavior, behavioral finance, Bayesian inference, and quasi-experimental modeling for electronic health records. I received the USBS Research Excellence Award for Emerging Scholars in 2023.
