PID Control Loop Tuner
PID Tuner app can be used to calculate required tuning parameter values for a PID-controller.Â
RUn a open loop bumb test and input the process values with time points. Select controller type, DCS-vendor, and controller sensitivity with lambda tuning. THe app calculates process gain and time constant. Loop tuning parameters gain Kc, derivative time Td and integration time Ti are calculated. Graph show a simulation of the loop operation. Calculations can be saved locally.
