PictoPlay is designed specifically for children ages 3–12 and is listed in the Apple App Store Kids Category. We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy and take the following commitments seriously:
We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States.
We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR for users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, including specific provisions for children’s data.
We comply with Apple’s App Store Kids Category guidelines, including Guideline 1.3 and Guideline 5.1.4.
We do not display behavioral advertising to children.
We do not include any social features, chat, or user-generated content sharing within the App.
All in-app purchases and external links are protected behind a parental gate.
We minimize data collection from children. The following information may be collected during the use of the App:
Drawings and Sketches: Images that children create within the App’s sketchpad. These are used solely to generate AI art transformations and are processed as described in Section 6.
Photos Uploaded for Coloring Pages: Photos selected by the child (with parental involvement where applicable) for conversion into coloring pages. These are processed as described in Section 6.
App Usage Data (Non-Personal): We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data such as the number of drawings created, art styles selected, and coloring pages generated. This data cannot be used to identify any individual child.
We do not associate any of the above data with a child’s identity, name, or account.
If a parent or guardian chooses to create an account or make a purchase, we may collect:
Email Address: Used for account management, purchase receipts, and customer support.
Payment Information: All payments are processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. We do not collect, store, or have access to credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information. Apple handles all payment processing.
Device Information: We may collect basic, non-identifying device information such as device type (e.g., iPhone, iPad), operating system version, and app version. This information is used solely to ensure the App functions correctly and to diagnose technical issues.
Crash Reports: If the App crashes, anonymous crash data may be collected to help us fix bugs and improve the App. This data does not contain personal information.
We do not collect persistent device identifiers (such as IDFA or IDFV) for the purpose of tracking, profiling, or advertising.
To be clear, PictoPlay does not collect the following information from children:
Names, usernames, or screen names
Email addresses
Phone numbers or physical addresses
Geolocation data
Photos or videos of the child (the photo-to-coloring feature processes images of objects/scenes, not facial recognition)
Voice or audio recordings
Persistent identifiers used for behavioral advertising or cross-app tracking
Social media account information
Contacts or address book data
We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes only:
To Provide the App’s Core Features: Processing drawings through AI to generate art, converting photos to coloring pages, and saving artwork to the device.
To Improve the App: Using anonymized, aggregated usage data to understand which features are popular and improve the user experience.
To Fix Bugs and Ensure Stability: Using anonymous crash reports and device information to diagnose and fix technical issues.
To Process Purchases: Facilitating in-app purchases through Apple’s payment system (parental information only).
To Respond to Support Requests: Using a parent’s email address to respond to customer support inquiries.
We do not use any information collected from children for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing and improving the App’s functionality.
PictoPlay uses artificial intelligence to transform children’s drawings into artwork and to convert photos into coloring pages. Here is how this process works:
Image Processing: When a child taps the “transform” button, their drawing or uploaded photo is sent to our secure AI processing service for transformation. The image is transmitted using encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
No Personal Data Attached: The images sent for AI processing contain only the visual content of the drawing or photo. No personal information, device identifiers, or user account data is attached to or transmitted with the image.
Content Safety Filtering: All AI-generated images pass through a content safety filter before being displayed to the child. This ensures that no inappropriate, scary, violent, or otherwise unsuitable content is ever shown.
Temporary Processing: Images sent for AI processing are used solely for the purpose of generating the transformed artwork. They are not stored permanently on our processing servers and are automatically deleted after processing is complete.
No AI Training: Children’s drawings and photos are not used to train, improve, or develop AI models. Your child’s artwork remains their own.
PictoPlay uses a limited number of third-party services to provide its functionality. Each has been evaluated for compliance with children’s privacy requirements:
Apple In-App Purchase: Used to process subscription and credit purchases. Apple handles all payment processing in accordance with their privacy policy. PictoPlay does not receive or store payment details.
AI Image Processing Service: Used to transform drawings and generate coloring pages. Only image data (no personal information) is transmitted to this service. Images are processed and deleted; they are not stored or used for model training.
Crash Reporting (if applicable): We may use Apple’s built-in crash reporting or a privacy-safe crash reporting tool that collects only anonymous technical data (device type, OS version, crash logs). No personal information from children is collected by these services.
We do not use the following in PictoPlay:
Third-party advertising networks or ad SDKs
Behavioral analytics or user profiling tools
Social media SDKs (Facebook, Google, etc.)
Any SDK that collects personal information from children
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share personal information collected from children with any third parties for any purpose, including marketing or advertising.
We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers: We may share image data (not personal information) with our AI processing service provider solely to deliver the App’s core features. This provider is contractually obligated to process data only as instructed and to delete it after processing.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person or to protect our legal rights.
We retain personal information collected from children for only as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected:
Drawings and AI-Generated Art: Saved locally on the child’s device. We do not maintain copies on our servers after AI processing is complete.
Uploaded Photos: Processed temporarily for coloring page generation and then deleted from our servers. Not retained.
Parent Email Addresses: Retained for as long as the parent maintains an active account or subscription. Deleted upon account deletion request.
Anonymized Usage Data: May be retained for up to 12 months for product improvement purposes. This data cannot identify any individual.
Crash Reports: Retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes, then automatically deleted.
When data is no longer necessary, we delete it using reasonable measures to protect against unauthorized access.
Parents and guardians have the following rights under COPPA and GDPR:
Right to Review: You may request to review any personal information we have collected from your child. To do so, contact us at pixdazz3@gmail.com.
Right to Delete: You may request that we delete any personal information collected from your child. We will comply with such requests promptly and no later than within 30 days.
Right to Refuse Further Collection: You may request that we stop collecting personal information from your child and delete any information already collected. This may affect the ability to use certain App features.
Right to Not Be Required to Provide Information: We do not condition a child’s participation in any activity on providing more personal information than is reasonably necessary for the activity.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the methods listed in Section 17. We will verify your identity as the child’s parent or guardian before fulfilling any request.
In accordance with COPPA, we obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information from children under 13. Our methods of obtaining consent include:
Requiring a parent or guardian to provide their email address and confirm consent through a verification email.
Implementing parental gates (adult-level verification tasks) that must be completed before accessing purchase screens, external links, or settings that involve data collection.
If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately at pixdazz3@gmail.com.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect the information we collect, including:
Encrypted data transmission using HTTPS/TLS for all communications between the App and our servers.
Secure server infrastructure with access controls and monitoring.
Regular security reviews and updates to address potential vulnerabilities.
Limiting access to personal information to only those employees and contractors who need it to perform their duties.
While we take reasonable measures to protect information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, we ensure that any transfer of personal data outside these regions is supported by appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.
If you are a parent or guardian of a child located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the following additional rights under the GDPR:
Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about your child.

Under GDPR, parental consent is required for processing personal data of children under 16 (or under 13 in the UK, depending on the member state). We obtain such consent as described in Section 11.
The legal basis for our processing of data is: (a) consent provided by a parent or guardian, and (b) our legitimate interest in providing and improving the App, where we have ensured such interest does not override the rights of the child.
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These include the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.
We do not sell personal information of any user, including children. To exercise your California privacy rights, please contact us at pixdazz3@gmail.com.

Post the updated Privacy Policy in the App and on our website.
Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.
Notify parents via email (if we have their email address) or through an in-app notice before the changes take effect.
Obtain new parental consent if we make material changes to how we collect, use, or share children’s personal information.
