Welcome to the Minimalpulse privacy policy. Minimalpulse ("we", "us", or "our") develops and maintains this photo cleaning application (the "Service" or "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you understand exactly how your data is handled when you use our App.
This policy explains our data practices. Because our App is designed to be a completely offline utility, our privacy approach is simple: We do not collect, transmit, share, or store your personal data.
2. Information We Collect and How We Use It
Our core philosophy remains simple: your local files are your business. However, to keep the App free, we use third-party advertising services.
Local Photo Processing: All photo analysis and processing happens entirely locally on your device. We do not upload, copy, or transmit your personal photos, videos, or files to our servers or any third-party servers.
Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. Consequently, the App requires internet access. Google AdMob may collect and use certain information (such as your IP address, device identifiers like the Android Advertising ID, and usage data) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads and to prevent fraud.
In-App Purchases: We offer an optional in-app purchase to remove advertisements. All transactions are securely processed and managed by the Google Play Billing service. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information, billing address, or sensitive financial data. We only access your basic purchase history (i.e., verifying if you own the "Remove Ads" product) strictly for app functionality, to ensure the ad-free experience is unlocked on your device.
3. Sensitive Permissions: Gallery and Storage Access
To provide its core functionality (analyzing and cleaning up your photos), the App requires access to your device's media storage and gallery.
Why we need this permission: This permission is strictly required to scan your local storage for duplicate, blurred, or unwanted photos so the App can help you organize and clean your gallery.
How the data is processed: All photo analysis and processing happens locally on your device's hardware. Your photos and videos are never sent over a network, uploaded to a cloud service, or viewed by Minimalpulse staff.
Modifying or Deleting Files: The App will only delete or modify photos in your gallery upon your explicit, manual confirmation within the App.
4. Data Retention and Deletion Policy
Because we do not collect or store your data on external servers, we do not possess any of your personal user profiles or local files. (Note: If you make an in-app purchase, Google Play independently retains your purchase history associated with your Google account to allow you to restore purchases across devices).
Data Retention: Your data is retained only on your personal device for as long as you keep the files and the App installed.
Data Deletion: If you wish to delete the data processed by the App, you may simply uninstall the App and delete your local media files from your device. Since no user accounts are created and no data is transmitted, no further account deletion requests to Minimalpulse are required.
5. Third-Party Services and Advertising

6. Children's Privacy
Our App does not collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. However, as the App operates entirely offline and collects no data, there is no risk of child data transmission to our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our App's features or legal requirements.
