1. Introduction

Minimalpulse ("we," "us," or "our") develops and maintains PicSort (the "App"). This policy describes PicSort versions that use Google AdMob for advertising.

PicSort analyzes and organizes photos locally on your device. We do not upload your photos, videos, or other media files to Minimalpulse servers, and we do not provide their contents to advertising services.

The App uses internet-connected services for advertising, privacy choices, and in-app purchases. These services may collect personal information, including advertising identifiers and your IP address. This policy explains the information processed, its purposes, and your choices.

2. Information Processed by the App

2.1 Photos and Media Library Access

PicSort requests access to your device's media library so it can scan for duplicate, blurred, or unwanted photos and help you organize your gallery. Depending on your Android version and permission choices, access may cover all photos or only photos you select.

Photo analysis and processing take place on your device. Minimalpulse does not receive or remotely inspect your photos or videos. Their contents are not sent to Google AdMob for advertising.

PicSort deletes or modifies gallery files only after an action you explicitly confirm within the App. You can review or revoke media access in your device's app-permission settings.

2.2 Locally Stored App Information

PicSort stores operational information on your device, such as preferences, onboarding status, scan results, cleaning history, and cached purchase entitlement status. This supports the App's features and remembers your choices.

Minimalpulse does not operate a PicSort user-account system or upload these records to its own servers. Android's backup and device-transfer services may include eligible App data, depending on your device and backup settings. Those services operate under the policies of their providers.

Clearing PicSort's storage or uninstalling the App generally removes its local settings and stored records. This does not delete photos or videos from your gallery, revoke a Google Play purchase, or necessarily remove copies held by device-backup services.

2.3 Advertising and Technical Information

PicSort uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google may collect and share:

Your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location;

Android Advertising ID, app set ID, and, where applicable, other device or account identifiers;

Device and App information, such as device model, operating system, language, and App version;

App and advertising interactions, such as launches, taps, ad impressions, clicks, and video views;

Diagnostic information about App and SDK performance, such as launch time, hangs, and energy use.

Google uses this information for advertising, measurement and analytics, and fraud prevention. Processing depends on consent choices, device controls, applicable restrictions, and Google's services and policies.

PicSort does not request Android precise or approximate location permissions. General location can still be inferred from your IP address.

Google's consent service may also process information needed to determine which privacy message applies and to record your choices. Your photos and gallery contents are not part of this advertising or consent information.

2.4 In-App Purchases

PicSort offers an optional one-time Remove Ads purchase, processed by Google Play Billing.

Google handles payment and purchase information under its own policies. Minimalpulse does not receive your complete payment-card number or payment credentials. The App receives purchase details needed to verify and acknowledge ownership of the Remove Ads product and restore the ad-free experience. Purchase entitlement is cached locally and checked with Google Play.

When the ad-free setting is active, PicSort does not display advertisements. Google Play may retain your purchase history so the purchase can be verified or restored. Purchasing Remove Ads does not delete information previously processed by advertising services.

2.5 Contacting Us

If you contact Minimalpulse, we receive the email address and information you choose to provide. We use this information to respond to your message, resolve the issue, or handle your privacy request. Please avoid sending photos or sensitive information unless needed for your request.

3. How Information Is Used

Information processed through PicSort and its services is used to:

Provide photo-scanning and gallery-cleaning features on your device;

Save settings, scan results, and cleaning history;

Deliver and measure advertisements;

Manage consent and advertising privacy preferences;

Prevent invalid traffic, fraud, abuse, and security incidents;

Diagnose technical problems;

Verify, acknowledge, and restore in-app purchases;

Respond to support and privacy requests;

Meet applicable legal and platform obligations.

4. Google and Other Third Parties

PicSort uses Google AdMob for advertising, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for privacy messages and choices, and Google Play Billing for purchases.

Advertising and consent information may be transmitted directly to Google. Google may work with advertising technology providers and advertisers according to the applicable privacy messages, your choices, and its policies. Minimalpulse may view aggregated advertising and performance reports in AdMob.

If you open or interact with an advertisement, the advertiser or destination service may collect additional information under its own privacy policy. Review that service's policy before providing information to it.

5. Consent and Advertising Choices

PicSort uses Google's UMP service to present applicable privacy messages and record your choices. The available message and options depend on your region.

Where consent is required, the App requests the relevant choices before requesting advertisements. You can review or change available choices through "Manage ad privacy choices" in PicSort's Settings when that option is available for your region.

Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all advertisements or stop all data processing. Depending on the applicable choices and restrictions, contextual, non-personalized, or limited advertisements may be available. Information may still be processed for permitted ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

Where applicable, the privacy options may let you opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information. Google can apply restricted data processing in response to applicable privacy signals and settings.

You can also reset or delete your Android Advertising ID and manage available advertising controls in your device's privacy or Google settings. Available controls vary by Android version and region.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Privacy choices do not revoke your Google Play purchases.

6. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may depend on your consent, the provision of requested App or purchase functionality, legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as responding to support requests and maintaining security and reliability.

Consent is requested for advertising-related processing where required. Google and other providers describe their own legal bases and responsibilities in their privacy policies and applicable privacy messages.

7. Sharing, Sale, and Targeted Advertising

Minimalpulse does not sell or share your photo or video contents with advertising services.

Advertising identifiers and related information may be disclosed to Google and advertising providers for the purposes described in this policy. Under some privacy laws, certain advertising disclosures or personalized-advertising activities may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising, even without a payment for the information.

Where applicable, use PicSort's available advertising privacy options to exercise your opt-out choices. You can also contact us about your rights using the address below.

8. Retention and Deletion

Local App information is kept until it is no longer needed for the App's features or you remove it by clearing App storage or uninstalling PicSort. Your gallery files remain under your control and are not deleted merely because you uninstall PicSort. Backup copies, if any, are managed through the relevant device or backup-service settings.

Minimalpulse does not hold a server-side copy of your photo library or maintain a PicSort user account. Support correspondence is kept as needed to respond to and resolve your request, maintain relevant records, and meet legal obligations.

Google and other providers retain advertising, consent, diagnostic, and transaction information according to their own purposes, retention policies, and legal obligations. These retention periods are not controlled by Minimalpulse. Uninstalling PicSort or deleting its local data does not automatically delete information already held by those providers.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information; object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing. Applicable law may also provide a right to appeal a decision about a privacy request and protection against discrimination for exercising your rights.

Contact contact@minimalpulse.com to make a request concerning information handled by Minimalpulse. We may need information sufficient to verify and respond to the request. Because we do not maintain PicSort accounts or store your photo library on our servers, we may have little or no information that can be associated with you.

For information independently held by Google or another provider, use that provider's privacy controls and request channels. Google's policy linked above explains its available controls.

You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

10. International Processing

Google and other service providers may process information in countries other than your own, where privacy laws may differ. Their policies describe the safeguards used for international processing and transfers where required.

11. Security

PicSort limits access to your media by processing it on your device and not uploading its contents to Minimalpulse servers or advertising services. We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information we handle. No device, software, transmission method, or service can be guaranteed completely secure.

12. Children's Privacy

PicSort is not directed to children under 13 or under the applicable minimum age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through our support channels or on Minimalpulse servers.

Advertising services may process device and advertising information as described above. If you believe a child's information has been processed improperly through PicSort, contact contact@minimalpulse.com so we can review the concern.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when PicSort's features, service providers, privacy practices, or legal requirements change. We will update the Effective Date and publish the revised policy at the privacy-policy address linked from the App and its store listing. Where appropriate, we will provide additional notice within the App.
