2. Local On-Device Processing (AI Model)

The core functionality of the App—restoring and upscaling images using Artificial Intelligence—takes place entirely locally on your mobile device.

• No Server Uploads: The images you select are never uploaded to external servers, nor are they stored or analyzed remotely.

• TensorFlow Lite Usage: All processing is executed directly within the App via a local TensorFlow Lite interpreter, utilizing your device's own hardware resources (CPU or GPU).

3. Required Permissions and Media Access

To allow you to select images for processing and to save the finished results on your device, the App utilizes standard Android selection mechanisms (Storage Access / MediaStore API).

• The App only accesses the specific images that you explicitly choose to process.

• The restored images are saved locally in a public directory (e.g., inside the DCIM/PicRestore folder).

4. Third-Party Services (Advertising)

To fund the App and keep it free of charge for all users, advertising services from third-party providers are integrated. These services may collect data regarding your device identifiers and usage behavior to display personalized or non-personalized advertisements.

The following service is used in this App:

• Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited)

  • Purpose: Displaying banner advertisements and rewarded video ads used to unlock image-saving features.

  • Processed Data: Device IDs (such as the Advertising ID / GAID), IP address, interactions with ads, and app crash reports.

5. Local Storage of App Settings

The App stores minimal preferences (such as your chosen processing mode, "Restore Only" or "Restore & Enlarge") as well as the timestamp of your last free save locally on your device using SharedPreferences. This data remains strictly on your device and is never transmitted to us.

6. Your Rights

Since we do not collect, transfer, or store any personal data (such as names, email addresses, or image files) on our own servers, we cannot provide access to or delete such data.

Regarding data processing by the third-party advertising provider Google AdMob, you have the right to request information, correction, or deletion directly from the respective provider. You can also restrict or reset your Advertising ID at any time within your Android device settings under Privacy > Ads.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in the App’s functionality or legal requirements. The most current version will always be accessible via this link or within the App.
